Driveway Cleaning
As driveways of all surfaces begin to get used they start to develop cracks in them. This in turn allows for weeds to grow, which causes an unsightly appearance for your driveway. By getting your driveway and concrete areas power washed, you can prevent weeds from growing and the cracks from getting bigger. Prevention is better than a cure, as huge cracks will often be a pain to repair, and may end up having to replace the damaged part or your entire pavement. That is obviously expensive, and unnecessary if your driveways, tarmac and concrete are properly maintained.
Graffiti
An understanding of the materials and components of any surface that is affected by either graffiti or undesired paint is the best place to start when deciding to remove it. That is because the successful application of graffiti removal is heavily dependent on understanding what surface it is and the substance to be removed. For example, masonry will react differently to any cleaning agent due to its porous nature. Treatments can range from using a soft brush, with or without detergents, and applying low-power washing.

Power washers have special settings for a number of surfaces including wood, stone, stucco and brick. It cleans off any caked in dirt and extra layers, such as muck, grime and lichen.
Algae and mould growing on the outside of buildings after heavy rains are no problem when faced with a power washer in the hands of an experienced contractor. Paint and varnish are also left unaffected by power washers when commercial grade equipment in a trained hand is used. In fact, the washing will actually bring out the colors of the surface afterwards!
